Vancouver Queer Irish recognizes our organization operates on the unceded and stolen territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.

VQI supports the continuing journey towards Truth and Reconciliation by taking every opportunity to support indigenous artists, organizations and advocates and by encouraging our members to educate themselves on the steps we must take to better support indigenous peoples and communities.
